PRESS RELEASE

The Minister for Foreign Affairs, East Africa, Regional and International Cooperation, Dr. Augustine Mahiga, and the U.S Ambassador to Tanzania, H.E Mark Childress, along with their senior teams, met on April 13, 2016, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Dar es Salaam.

During the cordial and productive meeting they discussed the full range of bilateral issues and ongoing partnership, including shared goals and continuing US assistance to improve the health and education of the Tanzanian people.

They also discussed on promoting broad-based economic growth, and advancing regional security in the spirit of continuing partnership and friendship between the two countries.
