Ghana beat the U.S. 2-1 in overtime in the second round of the World Cup Finals Saturday, finally ending the long roller coaster ride for American soccer fans worldwide. The U.S. once again conceded an early goal and had to play catch up, but the U.S. did not have any magic left to pull out this game.
Ghana, the only African team left in the tournament, improved upon their 2006 World Cup Finals to advance to this year's quarterfinals. Ghana knocked the U.S. out of the 2006 World Cup Finals in group play before losing to Brazil in the second round
