Kali TV Online: This Week's Around Town

In this week's segment of Around Town, Kali TV attended the launch of the World Bank's Inaugural African Film Series where the movie "The First Grader" stole the show. "The First Grader" tells the inspiring true story of an 84-year-old Kenyan man who was determined to attend school for the first time in his life. Kali TV got a chance to speak with actor Oliver Litondo, the multiple award-winning star of the film, and the film's two producers, Richard Harding and Sam Feuer.

Also this week Kali TV visited KuuBie Concepts Mother's Day event in Frederick, MD, and sat down to chat with the organizer of the upcoming Sierra Leone Stars Live In Unity Concert that will take place in Laurel, MD in June.
