SWAHILI HERITAGE FEST will showcase History and Art Exhibits, Traditional Dances, Cultural Music, Folkloric Performances and the best cuisine from the coastal regions. Celebrating the diverse cultures of the African Great Lakes region and Southeast African countries where variations of the Bantu language of Kiswahili are spoken: Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Comoros Islands, Mozambique, Zambia and Malawi.
