Dear Diaspora Member,
As promised, we are pleased to share the results of the elections today, Tuesday, October 4th. The voting period for the election for the five (5) Officers of the 2016 DICOTA Executive Committee officially closed at 11:59PM PST on Sunday, October 2th. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation and thanks to all eleven (11) candidates that participated in this year’s election.
Number of eligible voters for this year’s election was at a record high with 281 eligible voters. This is a testament to the increasing active membership base and the great candidate pool presented this year. We would specifically like to thank 103 members for casting their ballots in this election. Special KUDOs to all Tanzania Community leaders for working with us , as well as "Jukwaa Langu Online Radio Show" and all social media forums in the Diaspora.
